Atari Asteroids is a classic arcade game set in outer space. You control a spaceship flying through a field filled with asteroids while dodging flying saucers. Turn your ship and use your booster to move around. Blast all the asteroids and saucers to score points, but be careful! When you shoot big asteroids, they split into smaller ones, and pieces that float off one side come back on the other. Each asteroid earns you between 20 and 100 points. The more points you get, the faster and tougher the game becomes. The big saucer shoots wildly and is easy to dodge, but the small saucer is accurate and worth a whopping 1000 points if you take it down.
